The BJP-led Tripura government is working for overall development including the development of the Healthcare system which is a priority sector of the present state government, said Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy while addressing in Mega Ayush Health Camp and Tree Plantation Drive organized jointly by Tripura Ayush Mission Employees Association and 52 Chandipur Mandal at Chandipur on Sunday.
The state government is fully committed to the development of medical services and the enhancement of overall healthcare infrastructure in the state, and in line with this commitment, the government has significantly increased the budget allocation for the health sector. Overall, the government aims to develop Tripura as a health hub,” said Minister Tinku Roy.
The state government is diligently working towards improving the health infrastructure. Currently, there are two medical colleges and hospitals in the state. The process of establishing another private medical college is underway, he added.
