Lady Drug peddler arrested in Agartala
Tripura police on Friday evening have arrested a lady identified as Jhumati Kala Devi from her residence located at Gwalabasti area and have seized huge quantities of heroin.
The police stated that they received a crucial tip-off regarding one lady drug peddler, on the basis of the tip-off a police personnel from New capital complex police station raided the house of the lady drug peddler. During the raid police officials found 35.6 grams of heroin packed in three soap case, 100 containers of heroin and 18,000 empty containers of heroin. Moreover, the estimated value of the confiscated heroin in the illicit market amounts to approximately Rs four lakh. After interrogating Jhumati Kala Devi revealed several names. Soon we will arrest all of them, said cops.
The accused was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
