The Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president and former MLA Mimi Majumder on Friday accompanied the BJP candidate for 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency by election Dipak Majumder for the ensuing by-election on April 19 next.
Interacting with the reporters during the door-to-door campaign on Friday former and Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha president MLA Mimi Majumder expressed he confident of sweeping the poll and said, “The response that we are receiving from the voters during our campaign, it signifies that BJP in Tripura will win the elections with a record margin.”
“In all sorts of campaigns, be it door-to-door or public gatherings, even Shakti Kendra meetings are seeing palpable enthusiasm among women and this signals the results already”, she told reporters.
Meanwhile, candidate Dipak Majumder also expressed his confident and said that people of the state will surely vote for Modi ji in the upcoming elections.
During the campaign, Majumder said, “The impressive response from the voters of Ramnagar signifies that people have trust on BJP.”
“I will surely work for more development to the constituency and finish the pending works for the welfare of the people of Ramnagar,” he said and believed that people of 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency will put their trust in him and make him win the election by huge margin.
Dipak Majumder was nominated as the BJP’s candidate for the ensuing by-elections to 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency, which is left vacant due to the demise of MLA Surajit Datta. He filed his nomination paper on March 27 last to contest against CPI (M) candidate Ratan Das.
