One dies in road mishap
In a tragic road mishap one 50 year old woman died at Ompi Chowmuhani in Teliamura on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Uma Rani Debnath Goswami resident of Mohanpur under Jirania police station.
It was reported that Uma Rani Debnath Goswami came to kalyanpur to attend a religious event. After finishing the event she was crossing the road at Ompi Chowmuhani in Teliamura when she was dashed by a fuel tanker bearing number TR 01Z 1672. As a result she collapsed on the road.
The locals rushed to the spot and informed the fire service. After getting the information fire service personnel rushed to the spot and took them to the Teliamura Sub-division Hospital. The doctors on duty declared her brought dead.
The locals alleged that the accident occurred due to the mismanagement of Teliamura traffic police. The locals further alleged that due to mismanagement of Teliamura traffic police this kind of incidents are rising day by day.
