Minister Tinku Roy distributes tool Kits to registered building and other construction Workers
Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy on Thursday distributed tool Kits to registered building and other construction Workers at Muktadhara Auditorium.
Speaking to the reporters Minister for youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour Tinku Roy said that to improve the skills of building and other construction Workers training had been given to a total of one thousand building and other construction Workers out of which 500 workers got the tool Kits in today’s programme.
New technology was being incorporated in construction sector which should be advocated by the construction workers. He rued that the sector continues to be unorganised and added that the Government was trying its best to help the sector.
More than 3 crore houses have been provided across the country and more than 2 lakh houses have been provided in Tripura. Besides, the central government has sanctioned another 1 lakh ‘Pucca’ houses for the state of Tripura. And these skilled building and other construction Workers will do a great job in construction of these houses, he added.
